Shirt dresses are something you either love or hate and in the case of this linen one from Anthropologie it is love. It’s great for this hot weather plus it has pockets! I paired it with a pair of old Steve Madden wedges which have and continue to serve me well and my Louis Vuitton bag. But I will add these caveats about the dress: It’s linen so it wrinkles. The cut is a little wonky around the bust and arms and by that I mean if it fits your bust then it becomes a bit gappy around the arms and if it looks good around the arms then you get the dreaded button gap in the front right across the girls. We all know how to handle that, right 😉
The dress color is called raspberry which is one of those colors that depending on the lighting can be either a hot pink or reddish looking as you can see from the photos. It’s true color is closest to the hot pink(ish).
Well since I’m here at the mall I might as well go in and see what they’ve got on sale, right?
Until next time ♥
Dress – Anthropologie here comes in blue and a great white print
Went out shopping today at my favorite local mall – Easton Town Center – and hit up the place where I just happened to buy this chambray dress a couple of years ago. This pullover tunic dress has camp shirt sleeves but I prefer wearing it unbuttoned and 3/4 length. This is a versatile dress because besides having pockets, and you know how I am about pockets, it can be worn as a dress or as a tunic over leggings or pants. And it is floppy hat season. This one protects my face and back of neck from the hot sun and packs well.
Until next time ♥
Dress – Old mine by Cloth and Stone from Anthropologie You can find similar at Marshals or here
This is an old short sleeved shift dress with pockets (I love all things with pockets! even my wedding dress had pockets) that I wore with a denim jacket. It is a very comfortable slip over your head style. At first I was concerned about how short it was but with encouragement from the spouse I wear it with chunky heels, wedges or sandals confidently and comfortably.
